Jason Kliwinski, AIA, LEED AP, joined Spiezle Goup Inc., an architecture, planning and design firm in Trenton, N.J., as the director of sustainable design. He has more than 12 years of experience in architecture and will work to incorporate principles of sustainable design and building at the firm.











Lipman


Bell

The Chicago-based architectural firm Loebl Schlossman & Hackl hired Brandon Lipman , AIA, LEED AP, as a design principal. With more than 28 years of experience in architecture, he has worked in colleges and universities, and public and private institutions. Gary Bell also joined the firm as project director and interior designer. Bell will be responsible for leading concept development for interior architectural design and for managing comprehensive approach that integrates programming and planning with design.

WDG Architecture of Washington promoted three senior staff members to associates: Alexandra Deasey, LEEP AP, is a project manager and project architect with the interior’s division of the firm; Ricardo Hendi, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, is a project architect with experience in urban and community planning; Douglas F. James, AIA, is a project architect who began his career as an intern with the firm.

Jack Robertson of Atlanta-based Robertson Sales Association has taken on the complete product line of Enviro-Solutions , a manufacturer of environmentally friendly cleaning products. Robertson has nearly 30 years of experience in the jansan industry and was the past president of the Georgia Sanitary Supply Association.


EcoStar, a manufacturer of environmentally friendly roofing products headquartered in Carlisle, Pa., hired three representatives in the western region. Joining the company’s network of product representatives is Marshall & Associates of Roseville, Calif., The Sales Group of Camarillo, Calif., and Miller and Associates of Central Point, Ore.









Bausmith

Dewberry, a civil, structural, construction engineering/inspection and environmental services firm in Parsippany, N.J., hired David S. Bausmith, PE, as project manager. He has experience in environmental and civil engineering projects, including compliance and management of complex site investigation and remediation projects regulated under state and federal programs.


Associations/Organizations


EnviroVantage Inc. of Epping, N.H., a company that practices the safe handling of hazardous materials at building and historic reconstruction sites, announced that Scott Knightly, the firm’s founder and president, was appointed to the board of directors of the National Demolition Association. He will chair the Environmental Impact committee.









Arsenault

Peter Arsenault, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, a principal at Stantec’s architecture group in Rochester, N.Y., was elected the national vice president of the American Institute of Architects. He has nearly 30 years of experience in building design, consulting and planning, with a focus on energy-efficient, environmentally sustainable buildings and communities.
