Editorial Features
Editorial features deal primarily with the design, construction, maintenance and operations of facilities. Articles should be concise and informative, presenting a solution to a problem without being company- or product-specific.
Green Building News often features articles written by industry experts. All feature articles should be exclusive to Green Building News, however we will reprint some features on a case-by-case basis. We especially appreciate articles that identify and respond to trends, report industry news or outline case histories that can help facility managers cope with a changing environment and improve day-to-day operations.
Suggested Length: 600-800 words
Photos/Graphics
Photos and other visual elements are required with submitted articles, for both print and web. Files should be submitted on disk or via email in a .JPEG, .EPS or .TIFF format, and as a separate attachment from the editorial document. All photos must be at least 300 DPI in resolution, at least 1MB and 800 X 445 pixels/inch. Please specify who should receive a photo credit for the image and a caption, if desired. Submission Guidelines We prefer to receive documents via email as a .doc file. Be sure to include complete contact information with your submission. For large files, we accept links to Dropbox or other online file-sharing sites.

Products
Green Building News accepts submissions for product placement on its website and in newsletters. Please note that paid products will receive first priority. To submit products and be considered for web and/or a newsletter, the following requirements must be met in order for editorial to consider placement.
Suggested Length: 100 to 200 words

People in the News
Let others know who has been hired, promoted or has an exciting announcement by submitting information for consideration on our website/newsletters. Make sure to include information with the individual’s current and past roles as well as major accomplishments, projects and educational credentials.
