Elizabeth Sullivan, Associate AIA, LEED

Elizabeth Sullivan, Associate AIA, LEED Green Associate, EDAC, has joined the New York office of HOK as a principal. Sullivan will also serve as regional co-leader of the firm’s healthcare practice across the Northeastern U.S., partnering with Laura Poltronieri, AIA, to drive strategy, thought leadership, business development and project delivery. Her in new role, Sullivan will advise academic medical centers, health systems and specialty providers on designing resilient environments that support patients, staff, operational leaders and the broader community. With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare planning and design, Sullivan has led hundreds of projects, from modular outpatient clinics and ambulatory hubs to high-acuity inpatient expansions and international initiatives. A passionate mentor and educator, she teaches graduate-level healthcare design at the New York School of Interior Design and frequently presents at national forums. She is actively engaged in AIA New York’s Design for Health Committee, Women in Healthcare and the New York chapter of the Association of Medical Facility Professionals (AMFP).
