Urinal Barrier
The EcoTrap, installed in waterless urinals and manufactured by Waterless Co. allows urine to flow down drains and keep sewer odors from being released. It works by moving urine through a layer of Waterless’s BlueSeal liquid, which creates a barrier and prevents sewer gases and urine odors from entering the restroom. Once the urine moves through the BlueSeal, it overspills into the central tube and travels down the regular drain line. The EcoTrap needs to be replaced two to four times per year depending on how often the urinal is used.
