Wool Insulation

Building product manufacturer Johns Manville (JM) added a new line of commercial and residential mineral wool to its full spectrum of insulation products. The mineral wool, which has a high melting point in excess of 2,000 degrees, can help delay fire spread, create quieter buildings, increase privacy between rooms and reduce heating and cooling costs by keeping structures warm in winter and cool in summer, according to the company. The mineral wool is made from inorganic fibers using an advanced manufacturing process. The products are dense, durable and can be easily cut. JM mineral wool is offered in a range of thicknesses and sizes.
