CertainTeed is boosting the sustainability of its Ecophon acoustical fiberglass ceiling panels with the addition of 3RD technology, a fiberglass manufacturing method that combines high-recycled content with a renewable plant-based binding agent, for a greener effect. Made with 70 percent post-consumer recycled content, the panels provide healthy indoor environments with their low VOC while also delivering sound absorption quality, according to the company. With a Class A flame spread rating, Ecophon ceilings are easy to demount and feature the Akutex FT finish for exceptional light reflectance and durability.
