Energy Management Companies Form Strategic Alliance

SAN MATEO, Calif. — C3, an energy and emissions management solutions provider, formed a strategic alliance with Science Applications International Corp. to offer robust, scalable, secure energy management solutions to large commercial, industrial, and utility businesses, as well as government departments and agencies.

Science Applications will also use the C3 solution to model, analyze, and optimize energy use at its own facilities.

“During the evaluation of C3 as our internal energy and emissions management solution, it became readily apparent that there was a compelling opportunity to deliver additional value to our customers," said J.T. Grumski, Science Applications’ senior vice president and business unit general manager. "Through our alliance with C3, we will integrate the C3 Enterprise Energy Management platform with (Science Application’s) suite of energy management services to deliver joint solutions to the large commercial, industrial, utility, and government markets."

Science Applications, based in McLean, Va., offers business consulting with operational enhancements, design-build capabilities, and project financing solutions to address new risks and opportunities for businesses and agencies.

Through their strategic relationship, Science Applications and C3 will enable customers to manage and optimize their energy usage and associated emissions achieve financial, operational, and environmental goals, according to a company statement.
