Michael Sexton

Firestone Energy Solutions hired Michael Sexton as the company’s senior sales engineer, where he will oversee development of the company’s in-house operations and services, product selection and roofing system design for photovoltaic applications. Sexton will also provide field support for the sales organization and roofing contractors installing photovoltaics on Firestone roofs.

 

Sexton most recently served as the single ply systems and accessories engineer for Firestone Building Products’ Roofing Solutions division. Prior to joining Firestone in 2008, he held a variety of technical and engineering positions involving roofing product and system research for multiple companies and government organizations including the National Research Council Canada, as well as experience in the rooftop photovoltaic industry. Sexton holds bachelor degrees in biology and geology from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Canada and environmental engineering from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, B.C.
