Emily Zimmerman
The U.S. Green Building Council’s National Capital Region selected Emily Zimmerman as the organization’s new executive director. Zimmerman will use her experience in non-profit operations, management, and funding to help USGBC-NCR continue its growth.
Previously, Zimmerman directed the Clean and Efficient Energy program at the Alliance to Save Energy. She has also managed the National Association of Home Builders’ Green Building Program and supported the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star program while with D&R International.
