NEW YORK — General Electric Co. (GE) announced May 29 that it will begin construction on a new 2-megawatt ground-mounted solar installation unit stationed outside of the President Container Group (PCG), a Moonachie, N.J.-based manufacturer of corrugated shipping containers, in Middleton, N.Y.
Hubbell Lighting and TOTUS Solutions have introduced Spaulding Lighting’s Cimarron LED fixture, now available with integrated surveillance, communication and control. Spaulding Lighting’s Cimarron outdoor lighting luminaire is totally integrated with an Ethernet-controlled LED fixture, 360-degree hemispheric camera and communications platform. The system can perform several surveillance and analytic functions based on specific needs.

WASHINGTON — Washington D.C.-based Green Seal introduced a revised version of GS-42, its standard for commercial and institutional cleaning services, the organization confirmed on May 19.
The revised standard has been reorganized to make the requirements for certification clearer and more streamlined. General criteria and leadership levels for the standard, however, have not changed. Any service currently certified does not need to meet additional requirements to maintain certification, according to Green Seal.
