On Dec. 1, Dr. Mike Enskat assumed the role of Director of the International Renewable Energy Agencies’ Innovation and Technology Centre (IITC) in Bonn, Germany. In his new capacity, Enskat will lead and oversee IITC’s strategy and programmatic work. Enskat previously served at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) as Head of the Infrastructure Section within GIZ’s Department for Sectoral and Global Programmes. With his background in international development, he brings more than 20 years of experience across energy, water, mobility and green hydrogen — building global partnerships and programs.
