Danfoss Climate Solutions, a Baltimore-based sustainable solutions company, named Dennis Appel president of the recently established Controls and Thermal Management Division, focused on uniting heat exchangers with refrigerating and cooling technologies. Appel, who joined the company in 2020, has been integral to Danfoss’ heat exchangers business. In his previous 20 years of experience in global operations and market strategy, Appel served as vice president of commercial and industrial solutions at Modine Manufacturing and as president of Heat Transfer Solutions, a global provider with 18 manufacturing sites worldwide.
