NBBJ Design, a Seattle-headquartered architecture and planning firm, recently welcomed Brita Everett, AIA, LEED AP, to the New York studio team as a corporate market leader.
With more than a decade of experience working with clients such as Squarespace, Moody’s and Sheppard Mullin, Everett’s expertise lies in leading large teams in completing complex projects, with an emphasis in sustainable design and construction. Everett has worked with clients to create sustainable guidelines and has advocated for waste diversion, asset reuse and the circular economy on panels and at international conferences. A published author of peer-reviewed papers, she holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from the University of Cincinatti and is also a visiting assistant professor at Pratt Institute in New York.
