Industrial Heat Pumps
Siemens Energy’s large-scale industrial heat pumps efficiently and cost-effectively regulate temperature by taking heat from a low-temperature source, like waste heat from a factory or water from a river, and using electricity to “boost” that heat to a higher temperature. Utilizing renewable heat from nature, heat pumps outperform traditional methods of directly converting electricity into heat. The refrigerants used in the heat pump are environmentally friendly by using non-toxic and non-corrosive elements and feature an ultra-low global warming potential with no ozone depletion potential.
