Oil Mist Filtration System
The two new ScandMist air filtration systems from Clean Air America are designed to capture and remove oil mist within manufacturing facilities. The 70D and 100D models are small in size, allowing users to fit the machines anywhere at their convenience, according to the company. Each system features a fiber bed technology that enables oil mist to condense on the filter fibers, where it collects and drains into the machine’s reservoir. Designed to remain unclogged, the filters measure air speed for maximum air cleaning and minimum power consumption. With built-in acoustical lining, the units reduce noise levels while its removable filter doors with lift off hinges make changing filters easy and quick. Measuring up to 46 inches in height and 27 inches in width, the 70D model performs at 400 cubic feet per minute, according to the company.
