Jay Cariveau
Hanson Building Products named Jay Cariveau vice president of sales for its structural precast division, where he will oversee sales, estimating and project management for facilities in Minnesota, Utah, Idaho and California.Ken Daly
Architectural Metal Systems and Storage Systems named Ken Daly as sales manager for the two companies. Daly has more than 20 years of sales and sales management experience in roofing systems, metal components, project management, and small business ownership. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Theology from Wake Forest University.
Emily Zimmerman
The U.S. Green Building Council’s National Capital Region selected Emily Zimmerman as the organization’s new executive director. Zimmerman will use her experience in non-profit operations, management, and funding to help USGBC-NCR continue its growth.

Ceremony Held for Large California K-12 Solar Project
PIEDMONT, Calif. – At a ribbon-cutting ceremony for what planners say is the largest solar and energy-efficiency school project, school officials announced they would be handing the scissors to the students.

First Registered Floating Building Aims for LEED
