Starting Monday, six North Trenholm Road area congregations will begin building the first “green” Habitat for Humanity house in the Midlands in a lead-up to the Sept. 25 Forest Acres Green Festival, an event that leaders of the faith communities hope will spur interest in environmentally friendly building practices and sustainable living.
