Doha, 23 October 2010: Qatar Green Building Council’s (QGBC) announcement of its membership programme has generated tremendous response, with key organizations from all sectors signing up.

Western Kentucky University’s first green building – the $35 million College of Education and Behavioral Sciences – will be named for WKU President Gary Ransdell.

The 100-storey 5-star green building is set to attract more interest to the whole development.

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and its founders have been named as defendants in a class action lawsuit filed in federal court.

The Orange County Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council has announced the October event will be available to members and non-members of the organization as a way of providing green building information and education to the Orange County community.
