Green Tree council members have voted unanimously to approve a resolution encouraging the Keystone Oaks School District not to close Aiken Elementary School in Green Tree and Myrtle Elementary in Castle Shannon.

The San Anselmo Town Council voted 3-1 Tuesday to adopt a new green building ordinance that sets new standards for such things as insulation around heating and cooling ducts, use of low energy-use appliances, low-flow water fixtures and energy-saving windows.

The Pixel building, as it is known, is the new Melbourne city headquarters for the developers Grocon – known for many of Australia’s major buildings. Eureka building on Melbourne’s Southbank is one of their most prominent. This is considered one of the tallest buildings in Australia.
