Shlachter & Co.: Atlas buys Kansas City building with Prohibition history

Atlas Properties, owners of the Historic Electric Building in downtown Fort Worth, has bought Kansas City, Mo.’s historic Pabst-Pendergast building, which reportedly has ties to that city’s legendary bootlegging industry during Prohibition.
