Tribe goes green with three rental homes

ATHENS TOWNSHIP, Mich. The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi has earned LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certification by the U.S Green Building Council for three homes on the tribes Pine Creek Reservation. The three homes will be used as rental units for low and moderate-income tribal elders and families.
