Berea Hotel Goes Green (The Kentucky Post)

BEREA, Ky. (AP) — A famed Kentucky hotel has become the first in the state to be certified by the U.S. Green Building Council. Berea’s Boone Tavern announced last week it had earned Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification following an $11.3 million renovation last spring.
