Solar Glass

PPG Industries manufactures Solarban solar control glass that can block up to 70 percent of total solar energy, allowing facilities managers better control of temperature gain. Made with a magnetic sputter vapor deposition coating, it can deliver a light to heat gain rating of 2.37.

The product is available in heat-strengthened and tempered versions, and in clear glass or with a blue-gray tint. It can be coupled in a 1-inch insulating glass unit with clear or tinted glass.
