Karl Kreutziger has been promoted to president of C.W. Driver Companies, a building firm serving the Western United States since 1919. For the past five years, Kreutziger served as president of Driver SPG, a division of C.W. Driver Companies, which focuses on specialized new construction, renovation and tenant improvement projects.
Bond, a 108-year-old construction management and general contracting firm, announced that Project Manager and Historic Restoration Specialist Pamela Bailey, LEED AP, has been inducted as an overseer for Boston Architectural College. Bailey has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, much of it focused on the restoration and preservation of landmark buildings.
Dewberry announced the hire of Stuart Rogers, PE, LEED AP, as the new senior project manager in the firm’s Tampa, Fla., office. He will be responsible for enhancing the firm’s site/civil and land planning and development operations across the West Coast of Florida. He has served as principal-in-charge, project manager, design engineer and engineer-of-record for a variety of public and private sector development projects in the region.
New York-based Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Architects LLP (ZGF) hired Rebecca Dorris Steiger as associate partner at the firm. She has 23 years of experience designing a broad range of interior environments for clients in multiple markets, including technology, professional services, financial services and biomedical research.
The Chicago office of architecture and design firm Perkins+Will announced the addition of a new Director of Higher Education Planning. Jessica Figenholtz will be involved in generating growth and exposure for the Chicago office’s higher education practice by engaging clients and ensuring the creation of innovative 21st century learning environments.
The award-winning international architecture firm Francis Cauffman Healthcare Division announced the appointment of Zlatka Lennihan, AIA, LEED AP, as senior associate/senior project manager in its health care division. Lennihan has more than 20 years of experience representing both the design team and the owner’s interests in the delivery of leading-edge facilities.
Gilbane Building Company, a leading construction services provider, announced the appointment of Carole Mayer as manager of business development in firm’s the rapidly growing South Florida location. Based in Jupiter, Fla., Mayer will focus on the geographic area from Miami to Indian River, and will be responsible for sourcing new business opportunities with a focus on K-12, higher education, healthcare and government markets.
Architect Edwin Hargrave, AIA has joined Stantec as a principal in the firm’s Science & Technology Group. Based in Stantec’s Boston office, Hargrave is focused on helping the company expand its work designing state-of-the-art research and teaching facilities. Hargrave has been planning and managing multi-million-dollar campus upgrade projects for the past 30 years.
International engineering and architectural firm Buchart Horn (BH) recently promoted W. Scott Loercher, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, to associate vice president of the firm’s Architectural Division. Loercher will be responsible for developing and carrying out a strategy for growing and demonstrating the expertise of the division. Loercher, who joined BH in 1995, has most recently served the company in the role of principal and director of design.
The award-winning international architecture firm Francis Cauffman Healthcare Division announced the appointment of Beverley Spencer, CID, LEED AP, EDAC, CDT as senior interior designer. Spencer comes to Francis Cauffman with 15 years of experience in health care design. She is proficient in all phases of development from initial conception to completion.
