LED Replacement Fixtures
Orbit/UMI’s energy efficient–designed 15-watt T8 LED replacement tubes are now available to retrofit existing T8 fluorescent fixtures. The UL-listed T8 LEDs feature a T8 bi-pin prong and offer the equivalent output of standard 32-watt T8 fluorescents. Available in warm (4300K) or cool white (4500K), the T8 LED fixtures are designed to look and feel just like existing fluorescent tubes.
The fixtures measure 48 inches by 1.18 inches and weigh 14.09 oz. Because they do not require a ballast, installation is fast and easy, according to the company.

Solar-Powered HVAC
PROMOTION — The SunSource commercial energy system from Lennox Commercial integrates directly with 3- to 6-ton solar-ready Energence rooftop units, which provides effective efficiency levels of 34 SEER and beyond, according to the company. The system collects energy from the sun and feeds it directly into the rooftop unit. Any excess electricity is sent to the rest of the building for other uses, or back to the power grid, possibly earning a credit on monthly utility bills.
