Leo A Daly architectural firm promoted R. Michael Walden to vice president, director of design, at the Los Angeles office. Prior to joining Leo A Daly, Walden served as principal and director of design for Nadel Architects. He was also partner in charge of design with Los Angeles-based Dworsky Associates.
Brett Sumrow
Architectural and design firm Corgan Associates elevated Brett Sumrow to vice president. Sumrow joined Corgan, based in Dallas, as an intern and has been with the firm for a decade, specializing in project and contract management for the education team. He has worked with a variety of major school districts and among his achievements are the 30 new campuses for the Frisco Independent School District in Frisco, Texas.

Tim Bailey, LEED AP BD+C, rejoined Boston-based Margulies Perruzzi Architects as an architect. Bailey has experience with several corporate projects including the new corporate headquarters for Forrester Research in Cambridge, Mass., and Foley Hoag’s Boston office. He is a member of the AIA and the USGBC.
Rui Ribeiro
Rui Ribeiro joins Margulies Perruzzi Architects, a Boston-based architectural and interior design firm, as an architectural designer. Ribeiro’s responsibilities include design development and construction documentation using Autodesk Revit.
Shane Butler
Minneapolis-based construction management firm Bossardt Corp. promoted Shane Butler, LEED AP, to project manager. Butler began working at Bossardt Corp. in 2006, and attained his LEED AP status in 2009. Stanley L. Chiu, AIA, LEED AP, joined RTKL Associates Inc., as vice president. Chiu has 18 years of experience, primarily with healthcare and higher-education facility planning. He will work in the firm’s Los Angeles health and science studio and lead activities in the western United States and Asia.
Dalena Larson
Remco, a California-based recycled aggregate materials company that specializes in eco-friendly landscaping materials, named Dalena Larson director of sales and marketing. Larson is responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing, including the launch of the company’s latest product, GreenRock.
Julie Barrett
Julie Barrett was hired as business development director at the Long Beach office of Heery International. Barrett brings more than 22 years of combined architecture, construction and engineering experience to Heery, a design and construction management firm.
