Kemet Floyd
DesignGroup, a Colombus, Ohio-based architecture and planning firm, has expanded its team with the addition of Kemet Floyd as a project associate architect. Floyd, who minored in sustainability at Kent State University and is actively pursuing a master’s in architecture at Arizona State University, brings a focus on equitable design solutions to the firm, where he will help lead innovative solutions for various projects. Prior to his new role, Floyd was a designer at TerraSmart in Fort Myers, Fla., and a job captain at Ubiquitous Design Ltd in Shaker Heights, Ohio. In addition, Floyd is involved with both the American Institute of Architects and the National Organization of Minority Architects.
