Bob Burkholder

Bob Burkholder of the Virginia Beach, Va., location of architecture, engineering and design firm Clark Nexsen, has been named a 2024 Fellow of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) College of Fellows. Burkholder was chosen for his significant contributions to ACEC and the engineering profession. He will join a group of 150 Fellows working to advance the field through recognition programs, scholarship outreach and unique educational opportunities. With over 29 years at Clark Nexsen, Burkholder has had a part in diverse projects in areas such as land development, waterfront engineering, parks and recreational design. He has also served as president and national director for ACEC Virginia and has been active in the National Society of Professional Engineers, the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Society of American Military Engineers.
