Colliers Named LEED Proven Provider
WASHINGTON — Washington-based Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) designated Colliers International, based in Warsaw, Poland, as a LEED Proven Provider for the LEED-EBOM rating system family. This designation was developed to streamline the LEED project review process for experienced organizations that demonstrate consistent excellence in administering LEED projects.


Tim Cole was named vice president of marketing at Nora Systems Inc. In addition to his North American marketing responsibilities, he will be involved with technical operations as well as global responsibility for developing and implementing the company’s sustainability strategy. Cole comes to Nora from Forbo Flooring Systems, where he held various management positions in sales, marketing and technical operations during his 25-year career with the company.
WASHINGTON — The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) announced June 29 that Rick Fedrizzi, the founder of USGBC and CEO since 2003, will not seek renewal of his contract as USGBC’s CEO at the end of 2016, paving the way for an organizational leadership transition in 2017.
