The Category 7A TERA connector is part of Siemon’s ConvergeIT solution, which is a converged, IP-based intelligent building cabling system that uses a single, simplified structured cabling infrastructure for a smarter, greener building. ConvergeIT helps architects, design-build firms, building owners and contractors plan and deploy efficient IT cabling infrastructure for support of these buildings. The Siemon Category 7A TERA connector enables multiple applications, such as building automation devices and energy management devices, to run over a single cable.

WAC Lighting’s new Madison LED Pendant is designed with a distinctive crackled glass cylinder that sparkles in the light. Madison was designed with an energy-efficient LED light source. The low-voltage pendant operates on 12-volt low voltage systems and uses just 5.6 watts while delivering 360 lumens, a color rendering index of 85 and a color temperature of 3000K, according to the company. Madison is suspended from a Quick Adjust Canopy with a sturdy aircraft cable that can be custom shortened by hand in the field.

OutBack Power’s FLEXmax Extreme is the first sealed, outdoor-rated maximum power point tracking charge controller. The FLEXmax Extreme features a passively cooled design and offers full power output over a wide range of temperatures. Its sealed unit is capable of protecting circuit boards and other sensitive components from dust, dirt, insets and other contaminants. The FLEXmax Extreme’s advanced thermal engineering provides full power output from -20 to 45 degrees Celsius without requiring a cooling fan.

Hufcor Inc., introduces Acoustical Harmony sculpted carpet wall coverings, fabricated 100 percent from recycled plastic bottles. Acoustical Harmony is offered in a handful of patterns and selected color choices and offers an alternative to standard ribbed carpets. The new Hufcor wall covering has a noise reduction rating up to .25 NRC, helping to bring a more tranquil noise level within a given space using Hufcor operable partitions. The technology uses 15 plastic bottles to create 1-yard of acoustical wall covering that can be recycled back into fiber at the end of its lifecycle.

Neutral 78/65 can be used in double- or triple-glazed units, and in combination with the SunGuard portfolio of high performance low-E coatings. The Guardian SunGuard product line includes low-E coatings and advanced glazings for commercial applications that offer solar control and a wide variety of colors and performance levels.

Rinnai’s Tankless Rack System makes multi-unit condensing tankless water heater installation easier and more flexible for commercial contractors. The system is available in free-standing or wall-mounted options for indoor or outdoor applications. Indoor installations can be configured with either Rinnai’s standard polypropylene concentric venting or its new Common Venting System. Individual racks can hold between two and six of the company’s 199,000-Btu condensing units, which have an Energy Factor of 0.95.

Munters DryCool products are designed to meet dehumidification requirements for the entire building, providing 100 percent makeup air at space neutral temperature and below space humidity. The core of DryCool’s technology is the condenser reactivated desiccant wheel. The evaporator coil provides cooling prior to the desiccant process and energy recovery devices such as heat recovery wheels and heat pipes can be incorporated to optimize performance.

MBCI’s Eco-ficient insulated metal panels are available in 11 different wall profiles, which includes five hidden fastener panels: Grand, Summit, Royal, Classic and Vintage. Available in various widths and thickness, these profiles attach to buildings with concealed clips designed to eliminate thermal short circuits in the wall system. They also use a double tongue-and-groove interlock to eliminate thermal breaks and provide resistance to moisture, according to the company.
