The KWC AVA single-lever basin faucet with its CoolFix technology is designed to offer facilities energy savings as well as comfort and convenience. Developed to reduce the use of heated water and overall energy consumption, the faucet keeps its lever at a midline standard position, automatically delivering only cold water, rather than a mixture of hot and cold as found in most faucets. The lever can also be rotated clockwise for heated water as needed. Additionally, users can incorporate the basin faucet with KWC’s Neoperl Caché sink aerator for water reduction of up to 1.5 gallons per minute, a total of 40 percent in savings, according to the company.
