Wasco Skylight Products, along with Sweden-based Parans Solar Lighting unleashes the new Parans’ skylight system, designed to provide full-spectrum sunlight into areas that have never before been touched by solar lighting. The lighting alternative replaces artificial light with natural light, increasing productivity by 16 percent, according to the company. Ideal for general offices, conference rooms, and health care facilities, the lighting unit is fairly compact and easy to install. Lowering overall carbon emissions, the system tracks and transfers sunlight throughout the facility with its fiber optics and luminaries so that energy efficiency is not compromised, according to the company.
