Solar Platform
Kee Safety’s OSHA and CSA compliant Easi-Dec Solar Platform is made to lift solar panels to the roof of single and two-story buildings, also providing users with a fully guarded workstation. Designed for smaller, thermal solar installations, and featuring a lifting capacity of 165 pounds, the platform can be assembled from the ground up in less than 10 minutes, according to the company. Measuring up to 6.5 feet long by 2.5 feet deep, the system is fully supported by adjustable telescopic legs. The platform’s standard legs can extend and adjust in 1.2-inch increments to accommodate uneven ground. With aluminum safety railings, the corrosion-resistant unit includes a cushioned rolling bar for positioning over windows and to provide continuous platform support for load distribution on vinyl siding, cedar shingles and exterior insulation. The lightweight system can be disassembled quickly after use and easily transported, according to the company. Winged gates are also available for extended protection.
