Oregon Office Building Earns Green Globes Rating for Sustainable Operations of an Existing Building
PORTLAND, Ore.—-Crown Plaza, a 280,000 square foot office building in the Melvin Mark Companies real estate portfolio, has earned a 3 Globes award from the Green Building Initiative for achievements in sustainable operations.


Trinova Medical Waste Solutions, LLC, a provider of green medical waste solutions in Corona, Calif., hired Thomas Bang as CEO. Bang has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He previously worked at San Diego-based A-Life Medical Inc., where he served as CEO and president.
Barb Anderson of Edwardsville, Ill., joined Oates Associates architectural firm as a senior associate. She has more than 20 years of experience in a variety of markets including healthcare, hospitality and commercial sectors.
