Five members of NTDStichler, an architecture, engineering and design firm, earned the status of LEED Accredited Professional: Buddy Gessel, AIA, associate; Karla MacEachern, job captain; Scott Moreland, project leader; Alejandro Podesta, project engineer; and Barbara Faulwetter, RA, CCS, specifications writer.


John Rietz, AIA, LEED, was named principal at Baltimore-based Cannon Design, an architectural, engineering and planning firm. He has more than 30 years of experience in architectural design and project management. He most recently managed the design of Shady Grove Educational Center III at the University of Maryland, which was awarded LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

The Dragun Corporation, an environmental consulting firm located in Farmington Hills, Mich., added two members to its technical staff. Amy Owen, EIT, joined the company as an environmental engineer. She has three years of experience working at the National Resources Conservation Service as an intern. Mary Carnegie joined the company as a field geologist.


CleanTECH San Diego, a nonprofit focused on creating a renewable energy and environmental technology business environment in Southern California, named James T. Waring as chair of the organization. He is the deputy chief operating officer for land use and economic development for the city and has a diverse background in environmental activism, real estate assessment development and law.

Enviro-Solutions, a manufacturer of environmentally safe and certified cleaning products, hired Jim Morrison as the regional sales manager serving New England states. His experience in the professional cleaning industry includes working as a service contractor for more than eight years, a distributor sales representative for almost 10 years, and a sales manager with Swish Maintenance, USA for two years.
