Energy Department Standards to Save Billions in Electricity Bills
WASHINGTON — The Department of Energy (DOE) has introduced two new energy efficiency standards in support of President Obama’s Climate Action Plan.
The new standards apply to general service fluorescent lamps (GSFLs) and automatic commercial ice makers (ACIMs).
IRVINE, Calif. — The US Department of Energy’s Solar Decathlon 2013 ended Oct. 13 with more than 4,000 college students from 19 teams representing four countries participating in the two-year project.
