Joe Mayer, AIA, WELL AP was recently promoted to Managing Principal at DesignGroup. Mayer first joined the firm in 2010 as a project associate and was later elevated to project architect, associate principal and principal. He now leads the firm’s design practices across all markets and regions with a broad portfolio of award-winning, community-impacting work including the Columbus Museum of Art Walter Wing, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center New Inpatient Tower, Columbus Metropolitan Library’s Hilliard Branch and Directions for Youth & Families’ Crittenton Center. He earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Architecture from Ohio State University.
