Lighting Control
With Lutron’s PowPak wireless fixture control, adding lighting control to any fixture is as easy as a ballast replacement. Users have total flexibility to adjust zones or add additional points of control wirelessly. With the option of a sensor on each individual fixture, energy savings are maximized. Combined with the Pico wireless remote, each occupant can adjust their individual lighting, putting total comfort into their own hands.


Evaporative cooling towers, which can use millions of gallons of water per year, have provided the most cost effective cooling technology for industrial processes. However, with severe droughts throughout the United States, the issue of reducing water usage is now at the forefront.
Tom Marquardt, SBID, IIDA, has recently been hired in HDR’s Chicago office as a design principal. A veteran in the industry with 29 years of experience, Marquardt comes to HDR after leading his own successful interdisciplinary design and branded environments studio in Chicago, which he founded in 1988. Prior to that, he worked for two firms designing corporate and commercial interior projects ranging from office test fit plans to high-end showrooms.
