Forest Product Certification Sparks Debate in LEED 2012
As it revises LEED standards in 2012, the U.S. Green Building Council is considering amendments to forest product certification, a subject that has sparked debate among members of the forestry industry and other stakeholders.


TAS Energy has named Loyd Guillot its new director of the Modular Data Centers business. Located in the company’s headquarters in Houston, Texas, Guillot has been responsible for product development and identifying growth opportunities in the data center market over the last four years.  Prior to those responsibilities, he served as design manager, supporting all businesses within TAS Energy.
James H. Tazelaar recently joined Krusinski Construction Company as a senior project superintendent. Tazelaar is responsible for site supervision on a variety of projects, including the Comcast interior build-out in Oak Brook, Illinois. His previous experience includes 21 years at George Sollitt Construction where, as a aenior project manager, he completed various projects that included LEED Silver-certified facilities. 
Craig W. Hanson was promoted to principal at the Orlando office of SchenkelShultz Architecture. A 15-year veteran of the firm, Hanson is a LEED Accredited Professional and is a registered architect in Florida, California, New Jersey and Louisiana. His notable projects include the new Dr.
Capital Review Group has added Jann C. Pierce to their team of tax, energy and engineering consultants. Pierce brings more than 25 years of residential and commercial construction experience, as well extensive experience in energy-efficient technologies. Pierce uses strategic planning that includes lighting upgrades, high performance HVAC and building envelope technology to help clients reduce energy loads.
