Scroll Compressors
The Performer series scroll compressors from Danfoss are designed for sound reduction and endurance, with a full capacity range from 7.5 to 30 tons. Available in tandem/trio configurations up to 60/90 tons, the compressors are engineered with an internal reverse vent valve to prevents it from reverse rotation when wrongly powered.
The compressor is also equipped with an internal motor protection embedded in the motor windings or in some cases using an electronic motor protection module, enabling safe operation and protection of the compressor, according to the company.

Solar Roof
CertainTeed introduced its new Apollo Solar Roofing System, which skips the rack and mount for a seamless profile to integrate with standard roof shingles. Each 12-pound module has 14 high-efficiency, polycrystalline silicon solar cells that soak up the sun and convert it to energy.
The roof’s lightweight design does not require structural reinforcement or evaluation, and will be offered in pre-engineered kits with everything necessary for installation. The modules are Class A fire rated and meet UL 1703 requirements.
