The energy-saving Diamond Series is recommended for applications requiring high lumen output and minimal light source identification. The Alliance to Save Energy is saddened by the Sept. 17 passing of its creator and co-founder Charles Percy. From the Alliance’s inception in the 1970s, Percy served the organization and its mission, first as chair of the board of directors from 1977 through 1982, then as co-chair through 1989. Company officials said industry rating systems fail to recognize reducing paper usage as a green requirement.
The campaign encourages architecture, engineering and construction professionals to talk about the numerous benefits of paperless workflows and to recognize those who have already taken the initiative toward sustainability.
