Customizable Infrared Art
Prestyl USA launched a line of far-infrared Radiant Artwork heating panels – panels of customizable thin-film artworks that provide heat to any room in a residential or commercial setting. Based on French thin-film technology, the far-infrared technology does not heat the air, but is designed for energy to be reflected by some surfaces and absorbed by others to create a balanced multidirectional warm experience for people and pets.
Perimeter Heating and Cooling Beams
Tate introduces In-floor Active Chilled Beams, designed to be an energy-efficient perimeter heating and cooling solution that combines the benefits of underfloor air distribution with the efficiencies of water heating and cooling. The beams provide the energy savings and capacity of an overhead chilled beam while avoiding many of the concerns, including damage from leaking water lines and latent loads producing condensation, according to company officials.
