Carl Pope

Solar development and technology firm Entech Solar Inc. appointed Sierra Club Chairman Carl Pope to its Board of Directors and to the Special Committee of the Board. The appointment aims to help the firm commercialize its new generation of environmentally-friendly products, including its concentrating solar modules and tubular skylights. Pope has been chairman of the Sierra Club since March 2010 and has served over seventeen years as the organization’s executive director. He has authored or co-authored several books and articles on environmental topics.
