Modular Green Roof
Carlisle-Syntec Inc. offers the Roof Garden System featuring Weston Solutions Inc.’s GreenGrid, a modular green roof system. The system is an alternative to built-in green roof systems. It is composed of a series of preplanted modules made of recycled plastics.
Modules can be moved without disturbing vegetation. Advantages of the system include stormwater management, reduction in heat island effects, and air and water purification. It is available in four-inch and eight-inch deep trays, which can accommodate sedum plants, flowers, shrubs and small trees.
