CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. — The Wounded Warrior Headquarters and Hope and Care Center at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton was awarded LEED Platinum certification.

Pendleton Camp Solar Project Completed
CAMP PENDLETON — A 936-kilowatt solar electric carport and shade structure installation at the Pendleton Marine Corps Base Camp has been completed.
The project was designed by Independent Energy Solutions Inc., a Vista, Calif.-based solar energy development and construction firm, at the camp’s new Bachelor Enlisted Quarters.
The utility scale system is capable of generating about 1.3 million kilowatt-hours
