SAN FRANCISCO — When the San Francisco Department of the Environment was looking for new office space in 2013, the department made it a priority to make the space environmentally friendly and highly energy-efficient.
Portland, Ore.-based Green Building Initiative (GBI) board of directors announced that it has elected Mary Ann Dickinson president and CEO of the Alliance for Water Efficiency, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the efficient and sustainable use of water in the United States and Canada. Headquartered in Chicago, the alliance works with nearly 400 water utilities, water conservation professionals in business and industry, planners, regulators and consumers.
Michelle L. DeLora, AIA, LEED AP, was promoted to associate principal at SchenkelShultz Architecture in Orlando, Fla. She previously served as an associate.
