The U.S. Green Building Council has awarded LEED Gold for the districts middle school and Performing Arts Center.

The Cambridge Green Jobs Program will hold information and testing sessions Thursday, Aug. 12, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. and Wednesday, Aug. 18, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in City Hall Annex at 344 Broadway.

SINGAPORE’S regulators are raising the bar for new buildings from December as the city continues its drive for a leaner and greener economy. The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) announced on Thursday that all new buildings will have to comply with a higher Green Mark standard that will see buildings save an additional 10 per cent of energy over the current standard.
