VISTA, Calif. — Independent Energy Solutions Inc., a solar energy development and construction firm with business and military contracts, has been awarded a major contract by the U.S. General Services Administration to design and build a 914-kilowatt solar electric system.
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The USGBC awarded the office building of DPR Construction’s with LEED Gold for Commercial Interiors, DPR announced. The office, which recently underwent interior build-out, is located in the city’s EcoPlex and is one of Palm Beach County’s first LEED Gold-certified office buildings.
GARDEN GROVE, Calif. — California cities will begin enforcing the new California Green Building standards Code on January 1. California’s Building Standards Commission and the Department of Housing and Community Development finalized the new code earlier this year.
