Hydro Systems announced the launch of a new mobile integrated cleaning system, the ICS 8950. It is designed for quick and accurate applications of a single cleaning product at multiple dilution rations, such as when using hydrogen peroxide-based cleaners for floors, glass and sanitary/disinfectant purposes.


Green benefits include energy savings over traditional cord and power-outlet units and a 50 percent reduction of water and chemical consumption, according to the manufacturer.

Bird-B-Gone introduces the Repeller, a solar-powered unit that uses continuous motion to prevent large birds from landing. The solar panel powers a brushless motor that stores energy.


Rotating rods mounted on top of the unit sweep birds off of streetlamps, balconies, AC units and other structures. The product features two adjustable arms that cover up to 5 feet in diameter by turning continuously at 30 RPMs. It can be mounted on flat or angles surfaces.

ZAP introduces the Zappy 3 Personal Transporter for economical, eco-friendly personal transportation for short to medium distances. The electric-powered vehicle features a three-wheeled scooter design with a top speed of 12 mph. It has a range of 12 miles per charge, according to the company and operates on a 36 V battery that requires 4 to 6 hours of charge time. A 260-Watt geared-drum motor is fitted to the front wheel hub.


The vehicle is constructed of high-strength tubular steel framing and features an adjustable handle bar, headlight, horn and basket.

Stero introduces the Ecorinse series of conveyor warewashers, high-temperature systems that use less water and energy to operate. The series uses a two-stage final rinse system, consisting of 1/4-horsepower motor pumps at 165 degrees and 20psi of 180-degree water. It uses 18,000 watts less of electrical current than standard washers to maintain the final rinse.


The number of clean racks produced per hour with Erorinse is 10 percent more than the current Stero model, and gallons of water used during the final rinse is reduced by 59 percent from current models.
